Synapse Audio has released version 6.2 of Orion Platinum, a feature update that adds a new generator to its arsenal - Toxic.

Toxic, already available a a fully fledged VSTi from Maxx Claster, is a 6-operator FM synth, with alias-free oscillators, precise, smooth envelopes, a warm multimode filter and an extensive effects section. It also features a streamlined GUI, allowing rapid access to all relevant parameters - no hidden pages or endless searching for a specific parameter.

Other improvements and new features since v6.1:

• Round Robin mode in Sampler Editor.
• Playlist background colors configurable.
• Cubase VST presets (FXP) load/save fix.
• MIDI Out Start/Stop/Clock configurable.

The update is free for all registered owners of Orion Platinum 5.x and 6.
