Safwan Matni has released InterContinental, a basic SoundFont player featuring:

• Microtuning control on each of the 12 keys in the chromatic scale.
• Amplitude envelope generator.
• Pitch bend control.
• Patch and bank select through combo boxes.
• Loading a soundfont is indirect, and is illustrated in an
  attached text file.

InterContinental is available as a VST instrument for Windows and it is free.
