Muse Research announces New Software Running on Receptor

Muse Research, the owner of KVR, is showing the Receptor hardware plug-in player running several new virtual instruments and effects in booth 6729 at NAMM.

ReceptorReceptor is well known as a versatile product which performs equally well as a sampler/synth/sound module, a guitar/bass/vocal processor, or as a drum module. Muse Research will be showing new software that supports all of these configurations including BFD 2.0 from FXpansion including new expander packs, Addictive Drums from XLN Audio, TimewARP 2600 and KikAXXE from WayOutWare, StudioDevil from Gallo Engineering, the SyntAX Vir2 instrument from Big Fish Audio, Pianoteq version 2.2.2 from Modartt, Virtual String Machine (VSM) from G-Media, and the comprehensive Total Effects Bundle collection from IK Multimedia which includes Amplitube 2, T-Racks, Ampeg SVX and Classic Studio Reverb.

The Antares Audio Technologies line of vocal processing plug-ins will also debut on Receptor at this show, being demonstrated with Muse Research's exclusive UniWire technology. Receptor will be demonstrated with all of these software titles and more in Hall A at booth 6729.
