Nomad Factory has announced Retrology E-Tone, a collection of two plug-ins that digitally recreate the Equalizer and Presence Filter which were part of a well known 'British' mastering console. Designed to improve the quality of digital sound recordings, these plug-ins provide a simple and functional "vintage-style" interface, as well as low CPU consumption.
Retrology E-Tone includes Retro E4-Tone and Retro E3-Filter.
Retro E4-Tone
Retro E4-Tone is a simple and elegant 4-band "British-Style" equalizer with 5 switchable frequencies and five switchable Q-Shapes per band. The Q-Shapes control provides Shelf low, Shelf high, Broad, Medium, and Sharp bell curves.

Retro E3-Filter
Retro E3-Filter (Presence Filter), little brother of the Retro E4-Tone includes High Pass, Low Pass and Presence controls. The Presence control (gain) provide ±12dB of boost or cut on eight switchable frequencies using the same Q-Shape than the Medium Q-Shape used on the Retro E-Tone Equalizer (see descriptions above).
