Audjoo has announced the release of the first beta version of Helix, the wave-table-shaping-subtractive-hybrid synthesizer, for Mac OS X and also released a new beta version for Windows. The Mac version is available for Intel-Macs only as a VST instrument plug-in and has been tested in VSTLord and Ableton Live.

Helix for Windows Changes (2008-02-06):

• More analog-style filters.
• Tweaked non-linearities in the ladder-filters.
• Fixed a bug with controlling the start phase of a host-synced LFO.
• Rewrote a big chunk of gui-code for mac-compatibility.
