Steinberg announce Groove Agent @ Musikmesse

This year at the Frankfurt Musikmesse Steinberg is proud to present Groove Agent, the new VSTi by the development team behind "Virtual Guitarist": Groove Agent, a drummer who plays live, dynamic drums at the press of a button.

Groove Agent can play most famous drum styles from decades of music history. Some styles also include drum sounds recorded onto analog tape with vintage equipment for that genuine studio drum sound.

Anyone who can't do without their own drum sounds but wants Groove Agent to play their "live" drums for them can simply record the MIDI output to a GM-compatible drum track and then use their drum sample player of choice.
