Basement Hum has announced the release of basement_crossfade a very simple Mac OS X VST plugin primarily designed for use in Ableton Live. It accepts two audio inputs and a single crossfade control determines the mix sent to its output.

basement_crossfade is free but requires the free Pluggo/Max/MSP runtime environment.
