HyperSynth has released HyperSID HW Unit, a hardware unit for its HyperSID VSTi.
HyperSID HW Unit is a custom build synthesizer with internal processor and a real SID Chip which engages a multi-mode analog filter to produce warm sounds. All the SID chip hardware capabilities besides many new software based features are implemented in the HW unit, whole parameters can be controlled by HyperSID VSTi plug-in. HW unit comes with OS version 1.0 that can be upgraded easily to subsequent versions by the user.
HyperSID HW Unit can be purchased for $269 without a SID chip or $299 with one.
The hardware package includes: Universal Power Supply (100-240v 50-60Hz), MIDI Cable, RS232 cable (for OS upgrade) plus one year warranty and free lifetime updates.
