MeldaProduction has released MEqualizer v1.0, a new free VST effect plug-in for Windows, and updated MCompressor to v1.03.

MEqualizerMEqualizer is a 6-band equalizer with:

  • 7 filter types for each band.
  • Smooth visualisation of resulting frequency response. All parameters are adjustable from the graph.
  • Enable, Q, and Actual source level indication inside the shape graph.
  • Global preset management - using a title button you can save your settings, which are shared on the computer, so you can easily access them in another songs.

As with MCompressor, MEqualizer is available as a VST Effect plug-in for Windows. It is free for non-commercial use. For commercial use you have to purchase a licence key for €30. This upgrades all "free" VST plugins that MeldaProduction releases to a "professional" version, which adds:

  • You can save your own presets.
  • Most plugins can perform upsampling which minimizes aliasing, therefore it is useful to improve sound quality.

Changes in MCompressor since v1.01:

  • Fix: MDrummer did not apply custom shape until editor has been shown.
  • Fix: Support for energyXt1/2.
  • Added gain-reduction and output level meter.
  • Added output-gain parameter.
  • Attack/release resized to 0-1000ms.
