WindowsVST

SKnote has announced the release of version 1.0.1 of Voices.

Voices is a small powerful VST synthesizer for Windows. It is based on a multi-mode "formant" synthesis achieved through discrete summation formulae (also known as "DSF"). Voices employs up to eight multi-mode oscillators, each one with its own amplitude and spectrum envelopes. Chorus/flanger and overdrive are included. The "growl" function gives a particular sound to monophonic leads.

Main changes in this version are:

  • Updated to VST SDK 2.4.
  • No more "support files" needed.
  • General optimisation.

Voices is collab-ware. A customised copy is sent by email to everybody who compiles and sends the form available on the homepage. User manual and sound banks are available on the website and more will be available soon.
