Emagic Logic Platinum v6.2 released (OS X)

Emagic have updated the OS X version of Logic Platinum to v6.2. This is the first version of Logic optimised for Power Mac G5 and special care has also been taken to improve performance on G5s with 2 processors. Please keep in mind that running Logic on G5s requires version 6.2 or higher!

Changes in v6.2:

  • Optimised for G5.
  • Multitrack Recording - Performance and stability were effectively improved when simultaneously recording multiple audio tracks under Mac OS X.
  • Waves Fix - Possible crashes when using the preset menu of Waves plug-ins were removed. Please make sure to use the latest versions of your Waves Audio Unit plug-ins.
  • General Improvements - Miscellaneous improvements were made in different areas of the application.
