Best Service has announced the release of Chris Hein Horns Vol. 3 Muted, the latest addition to Chris Hein's series of comprehensive modular brass libraries.
Chris Hein Horns Vol. 3 Muted is a virtual sampled brass instrument library powered by Native Instruments' new Kontakt Player 3.5.
Chris Hein Horns Vol. 3 Muted offers 8 Solo-Trumpets, 8 Solo-Trombones, 7 Trumpet-Sections and 5 Trombone-Sections. It has 72 control-features in 11 different edit pages that let you customize any aspect of sound shaping and playability. Up to 8 dynamics have been sampled for each playing technique. This enables complete control over the dynamics and provides a greater amount of variation per note. To avoid the machine-gun-effect in repetitions simply adjust the velocity in your sequencers editor or use the programmed hot-keys.

Chris Hein Horns Vol. 3 has an MSRP of €399. Cross-grades from Volumes 1 and 2 are available for €249. As it is powered by Kontakt Player 3.5, it is available for Windows and Mac OS X in stand-alone and VST, AU and RTAS plug-in formats. You can also use and edit the instruments in the full version of Kontakt 3.
