ASK Video Interactive Media has announced a comprehensive tutorial DVD for Propellerhead Software's Record.

Electronic artist and ASK Video tutorial veteran Morgan "Morg" Pottruff returns with 45 videos covering all aspects of this new recording software. Those new to computer recording as well as seasoned pros will find Morg's approach an easy and logical way to learn large amounts of information, apparently. Users can watch all three and a half hours of instruction all the way through or use the DVD as a quick reference to find topics of interest with ASK's interactive user interface.

"Learning a new software application from scratch can be overwhelming, even for those experienced in using audio recording software," says Steve Kostrey, President of ASK Video. "Morg's logical approach in breaking down the elements of the software make it easy to learn at your own pace and absorb more information as you progress."

The Record Tutorial DVD begins with basics such as Preferences, Tour & Concepts, Transport Bar, Mixer and Recording. Once the user is comfortable with the program, the DVD moves on to intermediate chapters such as Editing, Arranging, Effects and Mixing. Finally, more advanced topics are covered including ReGroove, Synchronization, ReWire and the Final Mix. Real project demos are used throughout the DVD, letting the user see and hear the software in action.

Pricing and Availability

Record Tutorial DVD is available for pre-order at a 20% discounted price of $39.99 through September 9, 2009. The regular price will be $49.99. Ordering information and video examples are available at www.askvideo.com.
