Silicon Beats has announced the release of Jammin Reggae V2 - Drum Loops. This reggae drum loop pack contains 500 MB of 24-bit audio with six of the most essential reggae drum rhythms with accents, fills and many unique variations of each groove. Jammin Reggae V2 is also Silicon Beats' first loop pack to feature the vintage Ludwig Ocean Pearl drum kit with a Supraphonic snare drum. This kit was made in the early 1960s.

Silicon Beats fed the kick and snare mic's through the Focusrite Liquid Channel mic pre-amp and chose their sound proofed mixing room as a live room in order to achieve a dry "close-mic 'd" sound that emulates classic reggae recordings of the 1970s. Silicon Beats added zero room ambience to the mix so that the tight, dry sound gives you all the space you need to drop a thick plate reverb on those snare fills for that cool reggae vibe. Silicon Beats also included 31 single hit multi-samples of the Ludwig Ocean Pearl drum kit which have been edited and match the sound you hear in the loops. Load these into your sampler and create your own grooves and fills to compliment these reggae drum loops.
