brainspawn have updated forte "virtual instrument rack" to v1.3. The demo version has also been updated.

New features in v1.3:
  • Audio Inputs - modules may now take audio input from ASIO or WDM and route it through synths and effects.
  • Volume Control on every Module.
  • Flexible Sample Rates - forte may now run at 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 96KHz or 192KHz.
  • User Assignable Hotkeys - including hot key access to scenes.
  • CPU Utilization Meter.
  • Load and Save FXB files for VST and VSTi plugins.
  • Remap missing MIDI ports - when moving a rack file from one PC to another, you may remap the MIDI input ports.
  • MIDI routing to Insert Effects.
  • Use VSTi or DXi soft-synths as effects.
  • Better soft-synth and insert effect menu management.
  • Better Module Muting on scene changes.
  • Scenes now contain a description field.
  • Saving Racks optionally creates backup files.
  • Plus various bugs fixed [Fix List].
