eaReckon has updated its FREE87 plug-ins to version 1.0.1.

FR-LIMIT:

• The main algorithm has been improved. A light and unwanted distortion could have occurred in some specific situations (on solo electric pianos or pure sine waveforms for example). With its new algorithm and a new 'Slow' (release) option, FR-LIMIT should be now distortion safe while keeping its sound properties and its brickwall specification.

FR-EQUA:

• The integrated limiter is now optional and based on the new version of FR-LIMIT.

FR-COMP:

• Some of the fixed attack and release values have been changed. They are now:
  • Attack : 3ms (fast) / 20ms (med) / 40ms (slow).
  • Release : 30ms (fast) / 150ms (med) / 300ms (slow).
• The integrated limiter is now optional and based on the new version of FR-LIMIT.

FR-GATE:

• A potential bug related to 'channels linking' has been fixed.
