i3 have updated DSP-Quattro for MacOS 8/9 and MacOS X to v1.5 Final.
New in v1.5:
- New function to Insert Silence at playback or edit position.
- New option to 'Return To Start On Stop'. If enabled, using the Space Bar to Play/Stop, the playback cursor returns to the place it started to play. Moreover, the Return key now always commands the Pause, as the Space Bar did in previous DSP-Quattro versions.
- New Cycle On/Off button when doing a real time preview of an offline editing function.
- The keyboard shortcut list has been greatly expanded.
- MIDI clock messages are routed from the MIDI input port to plug-ins.
- New MacOS X Icons for DSP-Quattro files.
- Fixed a serious incompatibility causing a freeze of the graphic routine playing short loops under MacOS 10.3.3.
- Fixed a bug when managing headers of SDII files.
- Fixed a bug writing pause between PlayList tracks data on Audio CD-ROM images files and doing CD-ROM burning.
- Now the current preset of AU plug-ins are always correctly saved/restored in Projects and Mixer file I/O.
- Now the audio file info are correctly displayed in the Navigation Dialog when opening audio files under MacOS 10.3.
- Fixed a problem when opening more than several hundreds of files under MacOS X (it had drawbacks also on the Undo/Redo engine).
- Other minor bugs fixes.
