Adobe have announced a forthcoming v1.5 update to Audition, adding support for VST effect plug-ins in the process!
Main new features:
- VST plug-in support.
- Integrated CD burning.
- ReWire support.
- Frequency space editing.
- Pitch correction.
- Enhanced support for video.
- Clip time stretching.
- Automatic click/pop elimination.
- New sample sessions.
- Vocal/instrumental extraction.
- New royalty-free loops.
- Save custom keyboard shortcuts.
- Flexible envelope scaling.
Audition costs $299 USD, upgrades from v1.0 or Cool Edit Pro 2.x are available for $69 USD. Audition v1.5 is expected to ship in late May 2004.
