Accusonus announces Drumatom - Standalone OS X Application for Microphone Leakage Suppression
Accusonus has announced Drumatom, a standalone application for Mac OS X for microphone leakage suppression.
Drumatom employs a patent-pending algorithm, based on the general family of BSS (Blind Source Separation) techniques, in order to transparently reduce microphone leakage in multichannel drum recordings. The method used is the outcome of many years of research and development and aims to offer a fresh take on solving the "drum spill" issue, by providing superior results without the artifacts typically associated with traditional time-domain tools (such as gates).
The full feature set will be announced in the near future, along with a public beta program.
Drumatom will be released in September 2013.
