Subatomic Software has updated Audulus, the modular audio processor and synthesizer for iPad and Mac, to v2.3, which improves how sub-patches work with respect to polyphony.
With the new version sub-patches operate like visual groupings of nodes. This means that instead of the entire sub-patch being replicated per-voice, polyphonic connections are carried through. As a result, users can now have a sub-patch with monophonic input and polyphonic output (or vice versa).
Price: $9.99 for iOS. There is 30% off discount to celebrate the improvements to Sub-Patches. Audulus for Mac is available on the Mac App Store for $29.99.
