Korg has released a new demo version of their Legacy Collection of virtual instruments and effects plug-ins. Both Mac OSX and Windows XP demo versions are available and have the following restrictions:
- MS-20/20FX, Polysix, Legacy Cell, and MDE-X:
- Saving, Loading, Copying, or Pasting data such as a program or a performance program, etc. is disabled.
- Wavestation:
- Saving or Loading performance data is disabled.
- Importing system exclusive data that was created by the original Wavestation series is unavailable.
- There is a short audio signal (noise) added to the audio output when using one of the Legacy Collection synthesizers or effects.
Korg has also released a new Macintosh version of the Legacy Collection. Version 1.1.1 fixes AU handling in Logic 7, and the use of the Legacy Collection synths in stand-alone mode with Digidesign's CoreAudio driver 6.5.x.
