ndc Plugs has released two new VST effects for Windows and OS X - Amplitude Imposer and Tempo Sync Reverser, and updated two others - Cycle Shifter and Buffer Synth Alpha.

Amplitude Imposer takes two stereo inputs, and imposes the amplitude envelope of the first one onto the second. It also has a feature where you can set a threshold level, and whenever the second signal's amplitude falls below it, it is automatically amplified up to the threshold, in order to give a more constant signal to the amplitude imposer part. It's kind of like a compressor, but backwards.

Tempo Sync Reverser will reverse the input sound for a set (tempo-synced) length of time when you hit the Reverse button. You can use use a MIDI CC or note to trigger the reversing operation.

Cycle Shifter v1.0.2 and Buffer Synth Alpha v1.2.2 both feature the same change:

  • Fixed a memory leak.
