Chainer v1.0 has been released and is available for US$60.

Chainer is a multi-effect and multi-instrument rack for musicians and sound designers. It's a VST host that runs as a standalone application, VST effect and VST instrument.

Changes since the last beta release:

  • Several bugfixes (ASIO support,...).
  • New randomise mode.
  • Morphing feature: creates a new preset from two others.
  • Bypass button added to plugin editors.
  • Plugin editors aren't closed when the plugin is bypassed (hold "Shift" to do this).
  • "All Notes Off" hotkey (standalone version).
  • Saving of presets enabled in the demo version (loading only in the full version).
  • Several other internal changes.
