The Yellow Tools modular virtual instruments are a combination of the highest-end sound samples with an innovative audio engine. Powerful features, an intelligent user interface and an optimised engine for the simultaneous use of several thousand sound samples enable immediate access to hundreds of patches.

The intelligent polyphony management enables the adjustment of the instruments to the power of the system and the subdivision into multis with up to 8 layers allows the user to modify, create and save all settings to customize the instruments by individual criteria. The amazing results of the yellow tools modular virtual instruments are made possible by powerful MIDI processing that includes a keyswitch option, a highly-optimised engine for low CPU load, Basic and Pro editor modes for easy and custom manipulation of layers and keygroups, intuitive and custom adjustable features for each instrument and also cross platform plug-in compatibility.

Culture percussion and Majestic e-bass are the first two releases from yellow tools that utilize this technology, bringing a new dimension to authentic and realistic sample-based performances.

Culture contains over 9GB (2 DVDs) of authentic, highly-optimised sounds of world, ethno, industrial and orchestral percussion. Included are instruments from all over the world, with nearly every sound detail, which help make Culture sound so incredibly real. In order to achieve such a high level of authenticity, the instruments were recorded with nearly all playing techniques, for example, a djembe contains: bass tones, closed, half closed, half open, open, damped, fingered, flams, rolls, ghosts, drags, ... nearly all instruments with 16 velocity splits for left AND right hand.

Majestic contains over 9GB (2 DVDs) of the finest optimised e-bass sound samples. Included are e-basses for all styles of music, with nearly every sound detail, which help make Majestic sound so realistic. The instruments are available with playing styles such as fingered, fingered muted, slapped, picked and picked muted. Playing techniques include long notes, vibrato notes, short notes, ghosts, tappings, hammer-ons, 8th notes, slow slides, fast slides, back slides, fret noises, FX... nearly everything with 8 velocity splits per note. All basses of Majestic were recorded in 2 different scales!

Both will initially be available as VSTi for both Windows and MacOS, with MAS, RTAS and AU versions planned for future release.
