Audio Damage Discord v1.5 now available as VST

Hot on the heels of the Audiounit version, the VST Windows and OS X iterations of Audio Damage's Digitalis: Discord v1.5 are now available.

The Discord pitch-shifting model is a copy of the first mass-produced digital pitch shifter, perfect for everything from subtle vocal doubling to Low/Lodger snare sounds to extreme pitch-bomb feedback effects. With version 1.5, Discord gains several user-requested additions, making it both more capable and more extreme.

The update includes:

  • New user-interface design.
  • Routable variable-waveform LFO.
  • High-pass filter, in addition to the low-pass filter.
  • Re-written pitch-shifting algorithm, with smoother shifting at extreme settings.
  • Pitch control now has "Fine" knob.
  • Delays are now three times longer.
  • MIDI Learn Mode added to VST versions.
  • 20 new presets.

V1.5 of Discord is available for as a VST effect for Windows, and as an Audiounit / VST effect bundle for OSX, for US$39 via direct download at the Audio Damage site.
