IK Multimedia has announced new details and release schedules for SampleTank 2.1, AmpliTube 2 and Classik Studio Reverb, plus the new AmpliTube StompIO foot controller.

SampleTank 2.1 [more details]
SampleTank v2.1 will start shipping by the end of October 2005. SampleTank 2.1 XL will have a suggested retail price of $499/€419. All SampleTank LE/SE and previous SampleTank 1.0 customers can upgrade to SampleTank 2.1XL for $299/€249.

All SampleTank 2.0 XL customers who purchased after January 20th, 2005 will receive a free update to SampleTank 2.1 XL. SampleTank 2.0 L/XL customers who purchased before January 20th, 2005 can upgrade to the new plug-in for free and take advantage of a limited time offer to get the new sound set for $99/€79.

AmpliTube 2 [more details] and AmpliTube StompIO [more details]
IK Multimedia has updated the details and features of AmpliTube v2.0 and unveiled its first hardware product AmpliTube StompIO, a dedicated USB foot controller able to fully control AmpliTube 2, live and in the studio.

When used with AmpliTube 2, StompIO will offer guitarists the same feeling of traditional floor processors with its rugged metal construction, combined with thousands of amps and effects. It offers hi-quality direct guitar-IN, ultra low latency USB audio-IN/OUT, 10 foot switches, 7 knobs, 2 large displays, up to 6 configurable external controllers, MIDI IN/OUT, SPDIF, balanced/unbalanced stereo outputs and direct access to over 4,000 presets.

AmpliTube 2 will have an introductory MSRP price of $399/€329 for the full version and $249/€199 for the upgrades, valid till the end of the year. After release, the price will raise to $499/€399 for the full version and $299/€249 for the upgrades. All customers of AmpliTube 1 full or upgrade, AmpliTube 1 LE and AmpliTube Live are eligible for the upgrade to AmpliTube 2 at reduced prices. Customers having registered AmpliTube 1 full version from September 1st, 2005 will receive a FREE upgrade to AmpliTube 2.

Classik Studio Reverb [more details]
CSR will be available by the end of the year and have an introductory MSRP of $399/€329. CSR will support all the most popular plug-in platforms in both Windows XP and Mac OS X including VST, RTAS, AU and DX. A TDM version for Pro Tools systems is also under development.
