To achieve the authentic sound and feel of a good analogue hardware amp in software Aura Pro was traditionally designed, then refined in live audition sessions by musicians using db audioware's QFX audio technology.

Also, to mark the launch of Aura Pro, composer/musician PoA Sörlin has specially written and performed a number of new songs, available on the db audioware website. The guitar tracks on these recordings were processed exclusively by Aura Pro and demonstrate the amp's breadth of capability across a range of musical styles.
