SKnote has released version 0.0.4 beta of Voices, a formant synth VSTi for Windows.

Features:

  • Simple linear interface.
  • 5 oscillator types: Normal, Normal even harmonics, Formant, Group, Percussion.
  • 8 oscillators: voiced/unvoiced.
  • Envelopes and LFO for: formant amplitude, formant width.
  • "Growl" function for mono presets.
  • Chorus/Flanger.
  • Overdrive.

Voices is free and comes with a PDF manual and a bank of 50 presets.
