Yellow Tools has released version 1.0.3 of Independence. The update is for both Mac OS X and Windows XP and contains several extensions and enhancements of the streaming engine, the MIDI automation and also several bugfixes.

The Windows XP version also now supports the use of "alias" files inside your local "audio files" and "image files" folders. This option allows you to save hard disk space since you now can use all your audio and image files from several hard disks in Independence without copying the original files into your Independence Basic Path folder (just the alias files).
