Yellow Tools has released version 1.0.5 of Independence, posted ten new audio demos, and changed the pricing.
Changes in v1.0.5:
- "Pre cache" feature improved. It is now possible to load the entire 18 GB sound library with "pre-cache" in less than 5 minutes - without additional RAM usage. Afterwards you can switch arbitrarily with "program change" or the Layer menu between the Layer Patches - without additional load times.
- Optional activation of the default MIDI CC's for volume (# 7) and panorama (# 10) per Layer.
- Miscellaneous other improvements.
Product Range & Pricing
Yellow Tools has changed the available product range and the official list prices; also, different retail prices for the € and US$ zones have been determined. The biggest change is the removal of the Authorization key (dongle) from the "BOX" products and the discontinuation of the "Loyalty edition". Henceforth the Yellow Tools Authorization Key is a separate product and no longer included with the BOX versions. Since you can store all Yellow Tools product authorizations on one key, you can purchase the Authorization Key only once with your first Yellow Tools product.
The price of the BOX versions has been reduced accordingly (€449 / $499). The Yellow Tools Authorization Key (which comes in a laser-engraved metal box) is available at your local Yellow Tools reseller and in the Yellow Tools online shop (€34.90 / $39.90).
