Crysonic has released Spectralive NXT, utilizing a completely new engine with 10 algorithms and processors and incorporating many new features including a semi-parametric analog based fine-tuning EQ powered by the second generation "Crysonic Spectral Audio Vitalizer".

Spectralive NXT uses a considerably different method to achieve its sound when compared with other products such as enharmonic exciters, enhancers and analog tube simulators. Spectralive NXT does not add any artificial harmonics or overtone content thereby eliminating the inherent "hiss" introduced by other exciter and enhancer type effects. The Spectralive process is explained in detail here.

Main features:

  • 10 New Algorithms and 10 Processors.
  • Switchable Analog based parametric EQ for fine-tuning.
  • Spectralive process to impart vitality and warmth to the audio material.
  • 64 presets.
  • Increases Stereo coherence.
  • Sonically Correct mastering.
  • Decrease Phase Distortion.
  • Audio Frequency targeting.
  • Intelligent Phase control.
  • 24bit/96Khz audio support.

Spectralive NXT costs $54.95 and is available for Windows as a VST effect plug-in (An AU version for Mac OS X is expected to be released soon). Any previous Crysonic customer can Cross-Grade to Spectralive NXT for $12.95 and keep their other product with full active license. A demo version is available.
