Hot on the heels of pre-release of the latest stable incarnation (v0.9pre2) comes the first preview / alpha release of MusE v1.0.
The development team are keen to point out that it's not finished, it's buggy, it may not compile on your system and it may cause (insert favourite error), but it contains a lot of rework of the internals and externals of MusE, so if you are feeling brave check it out.
Some of the new features:
- New "project" paradigm.
- "auto fill" parts.
- DSSI support.
- JACK MIDI support.
- Graphical controller automation in arranger.
- Audio metronome.
- Support for VST plugins.
- New MIDI routing code.
- MIDI plugins.
- Parts and events are updated in realtime during recording.
- New look.
