Northern Winds Records has released Richard Lichten - Legacy soundset for the Korg Legacy Edition's MS 20 and Polysix synths, aimed at the contemporary dance producer with interest in new sonic textures.

The soundset comprises of five banks with 160 presets; it consists of three separate sections:

  1. SpiritisMS: Two banks of unique vocal and vocoder-like sounds for the MS 20, comprising analog choirs, ghostly voices, vocal fx, and vocal sounds in various formants (a-i); it is especially suited for ambient pieces, soundtracks or anyone searching for really unique sounds.
  2. F.U.E.L.: One bank for the MS20 of high-quality, more bread-and butter sound - basses, pads, keys and leads.
  3. Six A.M.: two banks of sounds for the Korg Polysix with a special emphasis on dance sounds, highly using the strengths - filter and arpeggiator - of this soft synth. Bank 1 consists of Basses, Leads, house-like Hits and Stabs; Bank 2 encompasses Arpeggios, Keys, and Pads.

Legacy costs €9. Audio demos and a demo bank with 34 presets are available.
