Realsamples has released three new sample libraries, the Hollow Body Guitar Collection Vol.1 & 2 and the Classic Bass Collection. Presets are provided for HALion, Reason, Kontakt, VSampler3, EXS24 and GigaStudio.

Hollow Body Guitar Collection Vol.1 & 2

Hollow Body Guitar Collection features a Gretsch Nashville electric guitar sampled in its classic inbetween-pickup-sound (Volume 1) and its brighter, clearer bridge pickup (Volume 2), using its vibrato extensively. Furthermore, a Fender tube reverb unit was used, for that old school vibe, through a Carr Rambler tube amp. Recorded through a tube mike, of course, the signal went through a Chandler Germanium preamp.

Recorded in 24/96 (down-sampled versions are available), single notes were sampled chromatically with 32 velocities of each note plus lots of major and minor chords, as well as muted notes and chords. Also included are some samples of guitar playing noises for a lively performance.

Classic Bass Collection

Classic Bass Collection features the vintage sound of a Höfner bass. To give that real vintage sound, Realsamples also played it with a pick and ran it through a classic Universal Audio tube compressor.

Single notes were sampled chromatically with 32 different layers of each note for that 60's vibe. Ghost notes are included as well.
