db audioware has released version 2.5 of its flagship software modular effects system, Quantum FX. The upgraded package includes Universal Binaries and major enhancements to the Quantum FX Workbench.

The major new features include:

  • Universal Binary for Mac OS X.
  • Workbench Analysis Tools - Oscilloscope & Spectrum Analyser.
  • VST 2.4 support.
  • Support for PNG graphics, with alpha masks (variable transparency), for plug-in GUIs.

Quantum FX 2.5 retails at $299 | €269 | £189 and is available for immediate purchase and download from the db audioware website. There is a special upgrade deal for existing owners of Quantum FX v2.x.
