Sensomusic has released a major new version of Usine, both Free and Pro versions.

Usine v3.0 (actually v3.0.3 now) introduces the concept of Modular Mixing. Usine can now be used like any DAW, and can handle traditional wave files in the time line, but with all the power and modularity of patches. Also, in this version, particular effort was made to transform Usine into a powerful multi-channel audio environment (up to 16ch). This version includes more than a hundred of improvements.

New features:

• The sequencer mode can handle wave files as a "normal" DAW.
• Multi-channels samplers & grain samplers (up to 16 ch).
• No more WinpCap driver to install for the Open Sound Control receive.
• MIDI/Key Learn available on sequencer Markers.
• "Recent files" list in the menu/File.
• New Next/Previous marker buttons in the sequencer.
• Unlimited undo in the sequencer.

• New 'Trigger' outlet in the Switch sequenced module.

Fixed bugs:
