Nine Volt Audio has announced the release of The Collection Vol 2 in Stylus RMX and REX Formats.

ACID Pro 7

With melody from Textural REX, rhythm from Beat Bandit and low end from Stylin Basslines, Nine Volt Audio's The Collection Vol Two is a REX-based loop library that combines inspiring sounds with user flexibility and a $40.00 discounted price over purchasing each title separately.

Each title in The Collection Vol 2 is part of Nine Volt Audio's BPM Flex Series, which means tempos are unrestrained and loops can be used at virtually any BPM without artificial stretching, unwanted audio artifacts or that "my loop is breaking apart" sound.

A section on each of the three discs or download has been prepared for Stylus RMX users, pre-organized into easy-to-navigate suites and ready for simple drag-and-drop conversion to the RMX format.

About each title:

  • Textural REX brings melody, harmony and tonal atmosphere to The Collection Vol 2. The 500 "T-REX" loops blend modern riffs with rhythmic ambiences and is designed to make immediately useful music with character to spare.
  • Beat Bandit is a modular loop library of electronic drums and rhythms created by sound and music designer Hans Scheffler. Every element of each full-mix loop is broken into individual loops allowing users to mix and match parts to create their own customized beats. Scheffler's clients include Access, Emagic, Roland and Spectrasonics.
  • Stylin Basslines' 550+ loops cover a wide range of styles and grooves using vintage, modern, fretless and electric upright basses, and vintage analog, modern analog and computer based synths.

The Collection Vol 2 costs $199.97 and is available as a three DVD-ROM set or download and features 100% copyright free loops. It has a combined 1700+ REX2 format loops, 270+ Stylus RMX Suites, 180 Stylus RMX Multi presets, 50 Stylus RMX Kit presets and 50 MIDI file drum grooves.

Textural REX features 19 combo suites that present an "A" and "B" loop group. Loops in combo suites play with and counter to one another creating multipart musical passages and the ability to create fuller sounding mixes.

Beat Bandit is organized into 60 "Beat Suites". Each Beat Suite contains a full-mix beat, a full-mix beat without the kick, a full-mix beat without the snare, percussion & hi-hat mix, and a loop for each individual instrument from the full-mix. Individual folders containing solo loops of kicks, kick 4xs, snares, hi-hats, percussion, hi-hat & percussion mixes, tonal fx and claps have also been created for quick beat creation from the ground up.

Further specifications for each title can be found on their individual product pages at www.NineVoltAudio.com
