Mu Technologies has released version 1.1 of Mu Voice, the real-time low-latency vocal harmonizer plug-in. Mu Voice is now available for Pro Tools RTAS on Windows. Since RTAS plug-ins do not support keyboard events, new navigator controls were added to navigate through the chord scheme and record the timing of the scheme progression.
A new online demo is available, using recordings provided by Gilles Dandelooy. The vocal track and music can be downloaded for testing. Import the vocals to a track in your host (beginning at time zero, tempo resolution at a quarter note and tempo at 120 BPM) and insert the plug-in. Then open the XML file from the plug-in and everything will run by itself.
New feature summary:
- New Features: Navigator buttons that allow to navigate the chord scheme in hosts that do not support key events.
- Demo: First on-line demo available.
- Platform: RTAS version on Windows available now.
Mu Technologies is currently working on the user manual, RTAS for Mac and AU for Mac versions. MIDI controls for Mu Voice are also planned.
