CDSoundMaster recently announced the release of Retro Analog Studio Suite 1 - a collection of high-quality preset programs for Acustica Audio's Nebula plug-in (Commercial versions). This library contains over 30 programs for Nebula that are focused on bringing the qualities of an all-analog studio to the user's DAW. The entire signal path is the focus of this collection, emulating not just a vintage equalizer, but the input into the console, the EQ circuitry going to tape, back to input return, sent to group bus, and out to two-track tape. Also contained are extra individual hardware settings created with an entire signal path as well, so the user can mix and match their setups for the most ideal situations in their mixing.
A combination of real analog hardware and completely from-scratch sampling, built from the ground up, based on a year and a half of studies, audio tests, schematics, etc., this collection is an idealized combination of enhanced, emulated, and real analog signal paths, including real and emulated: vacuum tubes, solid state devices, transformers, operation amplifiers, and the resulting harmonic structure, dynamic characteristics, and overall frequency responses setting by setting, volume gain and order all taken into consideration.
Retro Analog Studio Suite 1 costs $39. It requires Nebula2 or Nebula3.
