ExperimentalScene has announced the release of version 0.1 of DarkWave Studio - a modular virtual studio for the creation of electronic music. It is a VST host and has a built in pattern editor and sequencer. It runs natively on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms and is optimized for multi-core and multi-processor use.
The pre-release "alpha" version was released back in 2006. New to DarkWave as of version 0.1 are the following features:
- Multitrack hard disk recorder (wav format).
- Sequencer.
- Load and Save of Projects.
DarkWave Studio is available for Windows and it costs $38.
