Farview Recording has announced the release of its fourth collection of drum samples, entitled UltraDrums. The UltraDrums DVD offers 139 "gogs" of drum sounds, including cymbals, in both gog (for Drumagog) and wav formats, making UltraDrums compatible with all samplers and drum replacement programs. All of the snare drums and crash cymbals are recorded in stereo for a more realistic sound.

UltraDrums is ideal for a wide variety of musical genres including, but not limited to country, R&B, funk, jazz, pop, gospel, amongst others. Widely recognized brand names appearing on the UltraDrums DVD include DW, Trick, Tama, Ludwig, Pearl, Cravioto, Premier and Sabian. The drums have been sampled raw (unprocessed) and processed three different ways.

Pricing & Availability

UltraDrums is available now priced at $149 including shipping.

In honor of the release of UltraDrums, Farview Recording has also announced the reduction in price of their previous drum samples collections:

  • Rock Drums Volume III is now available at $129.
  • Rock Drums Volume I and II are available together as a discounted set at $99.
