One Small Clue has announced that version 1.0 of the Poise Percussion Sampler is available now as a VST instrument plug-in for Windows. Now that Poise is out of beta, the price has changed from $30 to $49.

PoiseWhile at heart Poise is just a sampler, it has been designed from the ground up with drums in mind. The workflow and options available have been tweaked to this end.

Features:

  • 16 Drum Pads.
  • 8 Samples per Drum Pad.
  • Multiple Sample switching modes:
    • Round Robin.
    • Random.
    • Trigger All (for layering multiple samples).
    • Support for velocity splits.
  • Inbuilt sample browser with preview.
  • Drag and Drop sample loading.
  • 2 - 16 stereo outputs.
  • Comprehensive Pad and Sample editing with:
    • Amplitude + Pitch Envelopes.
    • Volume + Balance + Pitch.
    • A user assignable FX module.
    • Humanisation.
  • Edit multiple pads simultaneously.
  • Does not break when samples are moved.

Changes since the last beta:

  • New: Can now change the order of folders in the browser (click and drag).
  • Fixed: When using MIDI to auto select Pads they would be triggered with an incorrect velocity value.
  • Fixed: The sample displaying wasn't drawing reversed samples correctly.
  • The "Embed Samples In Project" option is now saved when saving a project instead of being saved in the options file.
