Prosoniq has updated the Audio Unit versions of morph to v1.2 and OrangeVocoder 10AE to v3.2. These updates enhance compatibility with host applications that only support Audio Unit plug-ins based on Apple's legacy "Carbon" technology, such as Ableton Live and MOTU Digital Performer.

Based on a self configuring dual-mode user interface this update makes the Prosoniq plug-ins fully compatible with all applications that do not yet support next generation "Cocoa" technology Audio Unit plug-ins. This means that in addition to Logic and GarageBand all Prosoniq Audio Unit plug-ins can now be used, without restriction, in applications such as Ableton Live 6 and 7, MOTU Digital Performer and others, on both Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

These versions are recommended updates for all registered users of morph and OrangeVocoder 10AE and are available on the Prosoniq "Download Updates" page. A new demo installer is also provided on the Prosoniq "Download" page.
