Waves has announced the release of Waves V6 Update 1, which includes the release of the MV2 Dynamics Processor and MV360° Surround Dynamics Processor.
Changes in Waves V6 Update 1:
- MV2 Dynamics Processor is added to selected bundles: MV2 is available at no additional charge to users of Gold, Broadcast & Production, Platinum, Diamond, and Mercury covered by Waves Update Plan.
- MV360° Surround Dynamics Processor is added to selected bundles: MV360° is available at no additional charge to users of Mercury and 360° Surround Tools covered by Waves Update Plan.
- Bug fixes for SSL G-EQ, E-Channel, and G-Channel.
- Bug fixes for JJP PuigChild 660/670.
MV2 Dynamics Processor
With high and low level compression controlled by a streamlined interface, the MV2 is a simple and flexible way to control your sound. With intuitive dual faders for quick dynamic optimization, it's easy to maximize your volume.

MV360° Surround Dynamics Processor
MV360° is a dual function dynamics processor for 5.0 and 5.1 surround applications. With six channels of low level and high level compression, as well as nine versatile Link Modes, the MV360° is a simple, flexible way to control your surround sound dynamics.

- High level compression.
- Low level compression.
- Double precision bit resolution processing.
- Up to 24bit 192kHz resolution.
- 9 convenient Link Modes.
- 5.0 to 5.0 and 5.1 to 5.1 components.
