Arctican Audio has released The Mid-Sider, a free decoder plug-in for mid-side recordings for 32- and 64-bit Windows VST.
The Mid-Sider is a plugin for decoding mid-side type stereo recordings. The user drops this over a stereo bus with their mid and side channels. By default, the plug-in presumes the user has mid channel panned fully left, side channel panned fully right, and the side microphone's front (or positive) side facing left during recording. These can be changed from within the plug-in.
Price: Free. An OS X AU/VST version will be released in the near future.
