Arguru releases Aodix 4 & Stardust v1.3

Arguru Software has released Aodix v4.0 for Windows, which they describe as "the ultimate bridge between tracking and sequencing", featuring full support for ASIO and VST 2.0 allowing modular wiring of VST instances and pure real-time operation.

A demo version of Aodix is available for download immediately; licenses should be available for purchase soon at an estimated price of €75.

Aodix 4 features:

  • 256 track multi-pattern sequencer.
  • Virtually unlimited pattern length, intended for pattern call operation.
  • 32-bit float sample precision.
  • Up to 960 PPQN timestamp precision.
  • Selectable timeline quantization.
  • Step and step-free editing/recording.
  • Pure real-time event recording including automation (VST and MIDI CC).
  • Several real-time/offline editing modes (e.g. edit and play elsewhere).
  • Powerful MIDI-masking.
  • Full VST 2.0 support.
  • Supports plug-ins that are known to work with only a few hosts.
  • Modular VST routing through wires, multiple VST output support.
  • Full VST parameter automation with automation matrix.
  • ASIO output achieving low driver latencies (1ms).
  • MIDI Out through a MIDI-out supplied wrapper.
  • 32-bit float IEEE mono/multi-channel file rendering.

Arguru has also released Stardust v1.3, a powerful 4-in-1 mastering VST effect plug-in for Windows. Stardust can also be used as a channel processor and provides bass processing, stereo enhancement, multi-band compression and wideband analog-type compression.

1 - Bass Enhancer

  • Bass enhancement around selected bass frequency, Q and gain control.
  • 200Hz switchable pole phase rotator (off, 2, 4 or 8 pole).

2 - Stereo Enhancer

  • Stereo enhancer with delay control for the applied stereo image.

3 - Multi-band Compressor

  • 8-Band multi-band compressor.

4 - Wideband Compressor/Limiter

  • Analog-like wideband compressor.
