Bitshift Audio has released the long awaited v1.1 update to pHATmatik Pro, including Mac OS X Audio Units and VST versions!
The boxed version should be in stores around the world by June 18th for $US149. The price on the website will remain $US99 for direct downloads until June 15th, at which time it will increase to reflect the SRP.
The boxed version comes with a nice bundle of free loops from Primesounds and Tekniks. All registered pHATmatik PRO musicians will have the option to have the 1.1 CD shipped to them for a nominal S+H fee so they can enjoy the loops, too.

What's New in v1.1 --
- Support for Audio Units and Mach-O VST on OS X!
- Save and load pHAT files. (store slice information with a loop, so it's there next time you load). This is kind of like a Rx2 file, but it creates standard WAV files that you can use in any application.
- Support for trimming the beginning and ending of loops.
- New comb filter... much more fun to sweep.. try it!
- Support for favourites folders (OS 9 and Win XP/2k). On OS X this feature is provided natively by the operating system.
- Support for exporting the RMS value of the attack of a slice in the midi export. This is primarily useful if you're creating 'groove templates' from your sliced loops.
- Per-slice switchable one-shot mode.
- Slice on Metric Values (16th note, 32nd note, etc.).
