Blue Cat Audio has released a new Audio Unit public beta version of its freeware audio plug-ins bundle, Blue Cat's Freeware Pack.
This new version brings new features and a couple of fixes for the 11 plug-ins:
- MIDI control support with MIDI learn for all parameters (plug-ins are now declared as "Music Effects").
- Fixed automation issues in Logic 8 (automation was sometimes not properly recorded).
- Fixed coordinates display issues in Logic 8 for Blue Cat's Triple EQ plug-in.
- Shortened plug-in names so that they are clearly visible in Logic.
The VST and DirectX versions for Mac OS X and Windows remain unchanged. Feedback about this beta can be sent to the company on their support forum or by email.
