Bolder Sounds releases Crystal Glasses Vol. 2 and Granular Water Bottle for Kontakt and EXS

Bolder Sounds has announced the release of two new sample libraries for Kontakt and EXS24: Crystal Glasses Vol. 2, which costs $49, and Granular Water Bottle, which is free.

Crystal Glasses Volume 2
Represented in this 490 MB sample library are 6 different sized crystal glass sets. In each set there were approximately 10 glasses to choose from which totaled close to 60 glasses to record. Each glass has a unique pitch and tonal signature, which provided a great deal of sonic variety. Extensive Kontakt scripting provides the user an elegant and intuitive user interface which makes it easy to combine different groups of glasses.

The predecessor of the new Volume 2 Crystal Library - BOB Crystal Glasses and Meditation Bowls library, can be purchased at 1/2 price if it is ordered with the new Volume 2 Crystal library.

Crystal Glass Library features:

• Crystal Hits - 3 round robins per sample zone.
• Soft Crystal Hits - 2 round-robins per sample zone.
• Bowed Crystals - Played with a cello bow. Both long and short strokes.
• Singing Crystals - Wet finger run along the rim of the glass.
• Granular Crystal Pads - Ethereal pads created via granular synthesis.
• Crystal Combos - Kontakt multi instruments combining the above instruments.
• Crystal Morphs - Kontakt multi instruments which morph between individual instruments.

Granular Water Bottle
This sample set features a Klean Kanteen water bottle which has a very nice resonant 'bonk' sound to it. Granular Synthesis was applied after recording which opens up an entirely different sonic world. Two sets of articulations have been created - velocity switch hits and pad-like textures which have a grainy-percussive transient attack. The multi velocity samples employ as many as 20 samples per zone giving the user a great deal of variety controlled by velocity. Bo Clausen has contributed some very wild Kontakt scripting to this library as well.
