Camel Audio has announced the release of Alchemy Mobile v1.1.8, an update to their free iOS app that turns an iPhone/iPad into a powerful synthesizer. The Pro Upgrade has also been updated with loads of new features, and for a limited time you can pick it up at a 25% discount.

The free version now offers greater expression with velocity sensitivity and the ability to sweep the filter on each note by sliding the user's finger up and down the key. Support for Sonoma AudioCopy/AudioPaste has also been added to make working with other music Apps easier.

The Pro Upgrade now includes new features, including Virtual MIDI which allows the user to control Alchemy from other Apps such as SoundPrism Pro, project saving so you can recall your song sketches, and WAV and MIDI export to make it easy to bring your song ideas to the desktop. It also lets you intuitively pitchbend by sliding your fingers left and right on the keyboard, which makes it possible to create even more expressive performances.
